If you have been playing in your local Touch Football competition and want to play at a higher level, there is no better time than now.
Many teams are after players for the 2013 X-Blades National Touch League (NTL) including the ACT Pirates, who are down to 10 players in their Women’s 40’s team.
Like many teams, the ACT Pirates team is still determined to attend the event with the majority of the team already paid for flights from Canberra to Coffs Harbour.
The National Player Pool is open to all ages, so if you are young or young at heart, you can apply to play at the event through the National Player Pool.
Online Player Pool forms are available from https://reg.sportingpulse.com/v5/regoform.cgi?aID=13437&formID=24047, with the National Player Pool closing on Wednesday, 13 February 2013.
The Touch Football Australia 2013 X-Blades National Touch League (NTL) will occur in Coffs Harbour from Wednesday, 13 to Saturday, 16 March 2013 and the following divisions are offered:
· Men’s Open Elite Eight – no restriction
· Women’s Open Elite Eight – no restriction
· Mixed Open – no restriction
· Men’s T League – born during or after 1993
· Women’s T League – born during or after 1993
· Women’s 27’s – Born on or before 1986
· Men’s 30’s – Born on or before 1983
· Women’s 35’s – Born on or before 1978
· Men’s 40’s – Born on or before 1973
· Women’s 40’s – Born on or before 1973
· Men’s 45’s – Born on or before 1968
· Men’s 50’s – Born on or before 1963
· Men’s 55’s – Born on or before 1958
· Senior Mixed – Born on or before 1983
So if you want to play a little Touch Football or have a bit of a holiday, consider applying for the Player Pool or better yet, trialing for your local team for future events.
